Is Eric Northman Like Edward Cullen?!

So after watching Season 3, Episode 4 of TrueBlood last night and I saw Eric's dream sequence, I couldn't help ask myself if Alan Ball has been watching Twilight because the scene reminded me of Edward sneaking to Bella's room through the window... Hmmm!?!?... Just a thought! heheh.. I guess vampires just like windows? What do you think? Anyway, I think Eric and Edward are both handsome, dreamy, strong, possessive, both their names start with an "E" and got awesome hair! But uh, I still think Eric > Edward :P

TrueBlood: Meet Talbot...

So for the past two seasons, Lafayette Reynolds has always been my favorite 'flamboyant' character in TrueBlood. However, I think I may have grown fond of a new character this time around for Season 3- meet Talbot. He's Russell Edgington's (vampire the King of Mississippi) lover of over 700 years, played by Greek actor- Theo Alexander. All I can say is he's fabulous *snaps fingers* and this is why:
Look at his demeanor as he welcomes Bill into the mansion after gracefully walking down the stairs...
Love his mannerism as he clings onto Bill taking him up to his guest room while explaining the horror story history of where he's about to stay...
Look at the door he picked for the guest room, "100% Sterling Silver from Morocco". As you know, vampires are not too fond of silver. What a deadly choice huh?
I read in the NY Post blog that this robe is Tom Ford. Say whaa? He's a fashionista too?! Love him even more!
Here's Talbot looking extremely young and vibrant in comparison to his aged lover, Russell.
During the beginning of dinner, Talbot serves his guests "Chilled Carbonated Blood" and claims that it's "cruelty free and willingly donated by a person who ate only tangerines for weeks". I guess that's justifies it?
Check out the dining room setting. I'm sure Talbot had something to do with this!
For your entree, "warm blood bisque infused with rose petals" ... FANCY!
For your dessert, "blood gelato with a mint garnish".
Just look at him! I love this new guy Talbot. His accent is great, he's snappy, edgy, extravagant, flamboyant, charming, romantic, dramatic... I also like Alan Ball's twist because he portrays Talbot as a vampire. In the novel, Talbot is actually human. Can't wait to see more of him this season along with his quirky old lover Russell... something's definitely stirring up! Do you dig this new character?

Aahh Sookie Sookie Now!

We all know that Snoop is a big Truebie just like the rest of us. Well he definitely officially done-did-it now as he expresses his love for our favorite Bon Temps waitress in his new music video, uhh.. entitled, "Oh Sookie". Red backdrop, dancing "Sookies", a fang banger, a 4 finger "Sookie" ring and a gold "Sookie" neck piece, a fur coat, and a tricked out caddy? Sookie ain't ready for Snoop! Seems like Eric, Bill, Sam aren't the only ones that want some of that Sookie.

Times Square Covered in TrueBlood Madness!

Are you ready Truebies? With less than a week away before Trueblood's Season 3 premiere, I am ecstatic! I've been on the edge for months from anxiously waiting on what's going to happen next! Just wanted to share my excitement with some photos I took of the 42nd Street subway station in New York and its surroundings because HBO did a fine job advertising the show's much anticipated premiere. I was waiting for the ads to start popping up all over town as soon as HBO released the cast photo and now it's finally all over Times Square! Gosh, I LOVE NEW YORK!
What do you think of HBO's heavy ad campaign all over the Times Square vicinity? I personally love it. I'm also glad to see subway ads that haven't been vandalized for a change which is probably because it's pretty much under heavy security and surveillance at all times. A pat on the back for HBO!

Don't forget to tune in this Sunday, June 13th at 9pm! Let the count down begin! :)

P.S. Pardon some of the blurry pics and the glare as I took this early in the morning while trying to dodge rushing commuters without trying to get hurt and be at work on time. Thanks to the cops that allowed me to take pictures of the subway station and for not judging me- I can't help it, I love the show and will do any and everything to take pictures of Eric *googly eyes* :-X (sorry Mike!).

Is It June 13th Yet?!

Ok so I'm still super excited. Is it June 13th yet?! I'm currently reading the 10th Sookie Stackhouse book, Dead In The Family but it's not enough! By the way, it's getting really good and I'm half way through it! Out of boredom, I checked out the goods at the TrueBlood HBO Store and saw these super awesome Season 3 posters that they're selling for $9.99 each! I can't wait to see these posters all over NYC!
I am counting the days damnit! Which ones do you like?

TrueBlood Frenzy

Whoa whoa... check out Season Three's super sexy cast photo. I love the foreshadowing of what's to come! Can you see it?!? Ok I can't resist, here's what I see (don't quote me though):
1) Eric seems to be in the middle of it all.. HMM!
2) Bill and Sookie looks so in love ... OH REALLY?
3) I see a huge snake .. I sense 'deception' somewhere
4) I see a werewolf, perhaps another supernatural being enters the story line? Ahem Alcide!
5) Sam and Tara? Will they get back together?
6) Jason is mysteriously eye'ing Lafayette (possible relapse for his V addiction?)
7) Lafayette is up to something.. but isn't he always? Now that he's a bit more friendlier with the vamps, I'm sure something is definitely up. As an aside, in the book- Lafayette should have already died but I'm glad Alan Ball has been keeping his character in the story line because he's surely a fan favorite.
8) Little Miss Hamby totally looks like a total SLORE.
9) We get a little bit more of Pam this season. I like her, she's funny.

I am anxiously counting down the days to its premiere on June 13th. So soon yet so far away... So what have I been doing to amp myself up? Well for the past two months I have revisited Season One via Netflix (and occasionally on HBO On Demand) and have been watching Season Two every Sunday at 8pm on HBO. Let me tell you, the story never gets old. It just gets better each time! I've also been discussing the story line with Mr. Fox which also gives me a mental refresher as I often refer to the books during our discussion (NOTE TO SELF: read Club Dead again before Season Three begins).

Speaking of which, I received notification from Borders today that the newest addition to the Sookie Stackhouse novel (also the 10th book), Dead in the Family hits the stores on May 4th (pre-order here now)!!! Oh my! An awesome treat to read before Season Three hits the air waves!

Are you super excited? I know I am!! Can you tell? hehehe
